(Exchange 2013) Outlook unable to connect via Outlook Anywhere

Hi guys, been stuck with this for two days now...

I have a Windows Server 2012 installation with Exchange 2013. The local server is called

cts-uk-mail2012.cts-exchange.local

and I have multiple domains registered on it as we will lease out the mailboxes.

I've got a test domain pointed to it and configured, I've also registered a valid SSL certificate to the domain, mail.adlib-uk.com. OWA works perfectly from anywhere, no certificate warnings, all perfect, but no matter what I do I cannot get Outlook 2010 to connect to the server. I've enabled and changed anything valid to the mail.adlib-uk.com domain within the ecp and I configure outlook to connect via http with the relevant settings, but it tries to log me in and then it says outlook cannot connect to the server or outlook cannot log me in.

running a RPC over HTTP test on testexchangeconnectivity.com works perfectly... Any ideas on how to get outlook working? I'm under severe pressure to have this finished by tomorrow!!

Thanks,

Oli

How to Import items from "other calendar" to "Calendar" in Microsoft Exchange 2013

Hi.  I hope you are doing well today.  :-)

I am not an IT professional.  My husband and I are both self-employed.  He recently moved our Outlook 2013 stuff to Microsoft Exchange Server 2013.  I was able to simply move my contacts and emails from my old Outlook 2013 account into my new Contacts (People) and Email folders, by just drag-n-drop.  I believe my old calendar items are in a folder called "other calendar" which is listed under my exchange server calendar.  But when I click on the box for my "other calendar", nothing happens.  Pls help me move the items from my old Outlook 2013 calendar to my new Microsoft Exchange Calendar.

Thank you for your help.  :-)  Take care, and have a great day.  :-)  Barbara

Dear All,

I would like to know if it's possible to find the IPaddress of an intenal client which sent an email. We have Exchange server 2010 and F5 as the load balancer. I have searched through some forms but could not find an obvious solution. Does Exmon or any other third party tools acheive this?

Thanks & Regards

Delegate Issue: Accept & Decline messages hang Outlook 2010

We have a weird issue going on.

A month ago, we enabled Conflict Percentage Allowed (30%) andMaximum Conflict Instances (365) on the Resource Policy tab on our Room Mailboxes across the entire company.

Ever since then (it appears), our delegate users have the "spinning blue circle" when they click on any accepted or declined responses (on behalf of one of the users they are a delegate for). This does not happen if the delegate books a meeting on their own. This is a considerable length of time (upwards to a minute) and Outlook will show asNot Responding.

Exchange 2010 SP3 (happened under SP2 RU4 as well)

Disable Imap and POP3 Script

Hello Everyone

I am trying to make a script where I can disable Imap and POP3 for all new users in our organization. I have tried to use this command to disable new mailboxes. We are currently using Exchange 2007 SP3

Get-CASMailbox -ResultSize Unlimited | where {$_.ImapEnabled -eq $True or $_.PopEnabled -eq $True} | Set-CASMailbox -ImapEnabled $False -PopEnabled $False

but is seems to not like the "or" in this command. What am i doing wrong? And also is there a way to make possible to make the script look at the current date and disable Imap and POP3 for anyone that was created before the current date, and ignore everyone who's Imap and POP3 has already been disabled?

Thanks for any help

Good Morning Everyone -

I was wondering if there is a way to find out how many users used or accessed OWA on a specific date?

Hi,

Sorry if I have posted this question in the wrong place or again. I have searched high and low for the answer to this. We recently installed 1 windows 2012 physical server about a month ago and configured it for exchange 2013/Domain Controller/DNS/DHCP and other such roles. We are a technet subscriber so 4 of us also run windows in the domain environment with office 2013/2010. Being an IT support company and prone to playing about one of our administrators has tried to install the following roles, Routing and Remote Access, Network Policy and Access Services and the following features RAS connection manager, Direct Access. All of a sudden only that person can access mail through outlook 2010. We have 5 users. 1 Windows7/Outlook2010, 1 Windows8/Outlook2010 (The only one working) and 3 Windows8/Outlook2013. I have tried to recreate the Virtual Directories but have become confused with IIS and the new Exchange back end sites.

Would appreciate any help and will provide more information if needed.

Thanks in advance

Exchange 2013, Outlook allways asks for credentials

Hi all,

I have trouble with migrating to Exchange 2013 from 2007. All went well, after few minor issues everything is up and running but we have a very annoying popup asking for credentials every time a user opens Outlook.

It's happening with Outlook versions 2007, 2010 and 2013 (I haven't tested others). I tried with a combination of DOMAIN\Username, username@domain, emailaddress@domain and nothing works, when I press OK, the Login window reappears. Then I click Cancel and Outlook opens normally, but on the status bar I get "Needs Password". Everything works (I can send and receive mails, set OOF reply, set appointments...) but when I try to download OAB it prompts me for credential again. Then I put in the credentials in format DOMAIN\username and OAB gets downloaded and status changes to Connected to: Microsoft Exchange. From that point on everything works and it never prompt for credentials again until I close and restart Outlook.

Test-OutlookWebServices completes successfully and I can manually download oab.xml via browser (it requires me to log in first, though).

I noticed an interesting entry in Outlook connection status though. When I click Cancel on credentials prompt I get only 3 connections (all are referenced to my ExchangeGUID

But then, when I try to download OAB and enter the credentials I get this:

Maybe this 4th entry with GUID 0c4bc.... is problematic and causes authentication prompt. How can I find to which object this GUID belongs? I already checked all mailboxes and none has this GUID.

I would be very grateful if someone would shed some light as I already searched through the forums and tried many solutions for similar problems but was unable to find a solution.

If you need any more information I would gladly provide it.

Thank you very much,

Miha
